About Dr. Jialin Zhu

Dr. Jialin is a highly experienced practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine with over a decade of clinical expertise across hospital and community healthcare settings in Shanghai. She graduated from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012 and began her career as a Resident Physician at Longhua Hospital.

From 2016 to 2023, she worked as an Attending Physician at the Sanlin Kangde Community Health Service Centre, managing a high volume of approximately 150 outpatient cases per week. Her clinical background spans internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology, acupuncture, tuina and emergency care, allowing her to combine both traditional and modern medical approaches.

At Zen By Omnia, Dr. Jialin leads acupuncture and cupping treatments while also delivering Tai Chi as part of our lifestyle programmes, supporting both recovery and long-term wellbeing.

Holistic Background

Dr. Jialin’s approach is deeply rooted in traditional practice. She trained in Wu-style Tai Chi from childhood under the guidance of her father, a fifth-generation practitioner. Her expertise includes Tai Chi Sword, Sabre, and Pushing Hands, giving her a strong foundation in movement, balance and energy flow.

She integrates these principles into her treatments, helping patients improve both physical function and overall wellbeing.

Her Approach

Dr. Jialin focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of conditions rather than only managing symptoms. Her treatments combine precise acupuncture techniques, personalised care plans and lifestyle integration.

Her goal is to relieve pain, restore balance and support long-term health through a holistic and evidence-informed approach.
